The Original Klipsch Heresy has a very compact enclosure, for that reason the speaker don t gives lots of bass information. To get a better bass response we build a new enclosure. In the original Heresy there are also some cross-over problems. For that reason we build an entire new filter from scratch. We only used high end Mundorf components for the cross-over section.
This passive preamp is build with real high end components. Selector and volume control is made by DACT. So there is no ordinary potentiometer inside but a stepped attenuator and selector.
All wiring is made from 99,999 % silver with a cotton isolation. Cold plated cinch plugs. This preamplifier didn t have active components inside, this means there isn t any distortion and a very good signal / noise ratio. The enclosure is totally screened.
